Winding Down

It's been a while since the blog has heard from Stella, but since the weather's dropped we've not had as many exciting adventures as before.  We're ramping up for our Casa Pope Christmas (our UK celebration) followed by the POPE family's return to the states for a family reunion Christmas. I gotta admit I'm a bit stressed trying to plan for our trip back, but I think mainly it's just the thought of travelling 10+hours with a one year old.  The last time I traveled with Stella she DID NOT sleep at all and then we had a trying time at the airport for our connecting flights as well.  So I definitely will need to channel my inner Deepak Chopra. Nonetheless, we are excited to head home and see family and friends and stock up on American products like ummmm foil, ziploc bags, gold fish crackers.  It's just not the same over here!  Anyway, here's Stella's last adventures and outings.

Stella enjoying her beach walks with the grandparents.

She likes to crawl into her bed and just read to herself when mommy's not fast enough.

oh she knows it!

Stella likes to practice cleaning her face but she almost cleans her face raw!

Stella's a fan of the pub grub too!

watching cartoons

Watching the snow fall

Mommy's little helper:  This is her way of letting me know her diaper needs changing.  She gets everything ready for me.

Not quite ready for the potty but she loves that it's hers and only hers!

All suited up for swim class

trying on her new snow coat

Attacking Pudsey, the mascot for BBC's Children in Need

Off to swim class again!

Regressing with he binky and bear.

For the 1 hour that Stella wore her Texans jersey, they didn't suck.  After she went to sleep they went back to sucking! Leon can't do it all!

The season's first snow!

A different look for swim class this morning!

She opened up and started my laptop while I took a bathroom break

So I gave her something else to mimic me with.

Always one for the pub grub AND for multitaksing!

Park day

Yogurt facial treatment

Post-Thanksgiving dinner with friends!

Union Street Christmas Lighting Parade

Not one bagpiper but a band of bagpipers!

A different feel to the marching band parades back home.

Instead, she picks it up to hug and pose

The only time she was still for that class.
