So it turns out that the long and complicated process of getting my spousal visa depends on James getting his British passport, which in itself is a process that has required extensive documentation, applications, and interviews. Once he gets his passport though Stella and I can finally apply for OUR visas (albeit from the US) and avoid being derogatory "illegals." In the meantime we'll plan some European excursions to avoid that being the case. Yep it's a harsh life I know. We may never get this opportunity again so best make the most of our travel opportunities whatever the actual reason spurring us on. So in the meantime, we shall take in the sights.
