Took a nice woodland
walk yesterday in Banchory. Despite James telling me the longer way was
actually the shorter way (I didn't suddenly become an idiot, James (it
was a process)), I still managed to enjoy myself against my will. Stella
of course enjoyed herself as she always does when she gets a front seat
view of the world courtesy of Baby Bjorn. Hopefully today's walk along
the coast and castle ruins won't be as treacherous or exhausting. I've
never felt so old as when we had to go downhill along stoney paths for a
half mile. I was wishing I had jacked some canes from work at that
point especially when my walking stick had been abandoned a mile before.
