Dubrovnik, Croatia

Living North of the Wall, we felt we needed a change of scenery to somewhere warmer like King's Landing, so we made a trip to Dubrovnik, Croatia while we had the opportunity living in the Eastern Hemisphere.  There are sooo many amazing places to explore that I don't think we'd ever be able to make the trip if we were living in the US.
So being Game of Thrones fans, it was a great chance to see one of the filming locations, not to mention the great scenery otherwise.

Such a pro when flying.
Then not so much...Total melt down...well fake melt down anyway. I think we all feel this way when we're stuck with the cattle in steerage.

View of Molunat Bay/Village from our house.

Fitness equipment at the kiddie park is such a progressive idea. Really needs to catch on in the US

Can never decide what she wants.

So peaceful
King's Landing at last!

Another great traditional restaurant with great views.

Looking out to Montenegro on our way back to the house.
Across the sea/bay to Montenegro

Abandoned war fort at lands end of Croatia

Such a great variety of terrain all in one spot.  Mountains, farmland, vineyards, sea, cliffs!

"Gotta get me some swing time wherever I be."
Cilipi Village
Too bad Stella got bit by who-knows-what and wasn't allowed to swim while on vacay.

Cilipi

Our regular stroll through Cilipi

Cilipi---right before I ate it on a dock...and NOBODY helped me get up.  Pregnant as I was.  Just staring at the idiot tourist seemed like a more pleasant option to the onlookers and sunbathers.  Nice.

Amazing views and terrain.

Walled City- walking on the city walls

Beautiful red-top roofs within the walled city

Battle of Blackwater? Let's say yes.

So beautiful! Like Venice but more organized streets.

Found a great Traditional Croatian family restaurant on a river by a mill.  Such good food and great scenery. Konovaski Dvori

So when the people on what WAS a big yacht became gawkers when this yacht showed up, so did we.

What was the biggest baddest kid on the block before the previous yacht docked. Plus the quite literal use of the wheelchair parking designation.

Watch out for Pumba.
